Now in it’s third year, the Mayor’s Entrepreneur is a competition run by the London Mayor to award £20,000 in seed funding to entrepreneurial student-run startups from across the London student population. This year 468 entries based on the carbon reduction brief were received and whittled down to ten finalists, who I was invited to judge on 16th April 2018, at City Hall.
Myself and the judging panel chose WithLula, a startup who have developed a flushable sanitary pad. Genius! More about the awards & finalists are on the Mayor’s website here.
